Policies and Procedures

 

  • Current Vaccinations: Mr. Rogers Mobile Pet Grooming require all our pets to be updated on all their vaccinations prior to their appointment. We require our clients to provide us with the shot records for our file. We implement this policy for the safety of all the pets in our care as well as the safety of our groomers. We do understand that vaccinating your pets is a personal choice and we respect that. If you choose to not vaccinate your pet, we would be happy to recommend other groomers in the area who might be a better fit for your needs.

  • Accidents: Although accidents are very rare, there is a risk when dealing with animals. Grooming equipment is sharp, and although we use extreme caution and care in all situations, possible problems could occur including cuts, nicks, scratches, quicking of nails, etc. In most cases this can happen when an animal is wiggling or moving around. Your pet’s safety and comfort is our number one priority and we take utmost care and precaution while your pet is under our care. In the event an accident does occur, you will be notified of the accident and the further plan of action would be at the owner’s discretion. All medical expenses for veterinary care will be covered by the pet's owner upon signing this contract/agreement releasing Mr. Rogers Mobile Pet Grooming staff of any and all liability.

  • Satisfaction: If you are not completely 100% satisfied with our services, please contact us within 24 hours after your appointment and we will do our best to resolve the issue.

  • Flea and Tick policy: Owners are responsible for keeping their pet flea and tick free. If we must treat for parasites, then an additional fee will apply.

  • Photographs: This release form authorizes Mr. Rogers Mobile Pet Grooming to take photos of your pet for client file and for company website and Facebook and Instagram page. All photos taken are the property of Mr. Rogers Mobile Pet Grooming. Client information is kept private.

  • Client- Cancellation Policy: If it is necessary to cancel/skip your grooming appointment, we do ask for a 24-hour notice when possible. Early notification allows us to fill empty appointments with call ins or our wait list. Not notifying us causes the groomers to miss out on appointments that could have otherwise filled, and a loss of business for us. We do understand that unexpected issues can occur without much notice, please notified us ASAP in those cases. After the first last minute cancellations, a second will result in having to pay a $25 scheduling fee for your next appointment.

  • Company cancellation/re-schedule policy: Appointment time slots are approximate. Appointments may be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, mechanical malfunctions, traffic, or extended grooming times of an earlier appointment. In such cases, we will call as soon as possible to inform you of the time adjustment. During Summer months we reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to extreme weather conditions. This is not only to protect our mobile unit but also for the safety of the pet and the stylist. You will be notified promptly to reschedule.

  • Matt Policy: If your pet is matted or severely tangled, every effort will be made to protect their skin and coat while brushing and/or removing the hair. When removing hair that is matted, the skin can become sensitive and can incur clipper marks, abrasions, cuts, rashes, nicks, itchiness or redness. In some cases, the entire skin can become sensitive (bruising may occur) due to shock of removing severely matted hair. Matting removed from the ears may cause hematomas (swelling of blood) in any part of the ear. Any of these symptoms may present themselves during or after the grooming service. In addition, your pet may scratch, itch, lick, rub or bite any sensitive areas that have been exposed due to the removal of matted hair. Matted coats may incur additional charges. You as the owner, agree to in no way hold Mr. Rogers Mobile Pet Grooming responsible for any problems arising from grooming your matted pet.

  • Pre-existing condition policy: Mr. Rogers Mobile Pet Grooming is not responsible for damage, loss or claims arising from any known or unknown pre-existing conditions of your pet.

  • Stressed or aggravated pet/ use of restrains: If  a pet shows any signs of aggression during the nail trimming or other  grooming processes, a comfortably sized muzzle will be used for the  duration of the particular process or sensitive area as necessary.  This safety  device protects the groomer and your pet during the process and is  removed as soon as possible. If  a pet refuses to cooperate, rather than causing further stress, the groomer will stop the groom. A prorated fee will be charged for percentage  of work completed.

  • Right to Refuse Service: Mr. Rogers Mobile Pet Grooming reserves the right to refuse service for the health and safety of  your pet, they are severely matted, have sutures, open wounds, sores,  are pregnant, or if we determine your pet is too aggressive towards the groomer.

  • Price/ Fee policy:

    Prices for Full Grooms and Baths are based on size/breed, coat condition, coat maintenance, and special

    handling.

    • An estimate or starting price may be given via text or phone, however until the dog is actually serviced, all estimates or quotes are subject to change.

    • Depending on breed the average service time is 60 minutes. You will not be charge for setup time or clean & sanitization time. Additional time charge is for work actually performed on your dog.

      Please note: Customers will not be charged for extra time due to circumstances out of my control such as excessive humidity (extended dry time).

    • **All prices are subject to change depending on breed and based on each individual dog.

    • Prices are fluid and may vary from appointment to appointment. As dog’s age and mature they can become more sensitive or have pain or just get plain grumpy. There may be a change in your grooming price based on your dog’s changed behavior. I will always discuss and keep you informed regarding any changes in your dog’s attitude, behavior, mental or physical condition.

    • Prices do not include tax or gratuity. Gratuities are appreciated if you are satisfied with your overall service.

    • Dogs with excess hair growth, matted coats, excessively tangled coats or where extra brushing is required, or special handling is needed, additional charges will be added to your invoice.

  • Tipping Your Groomer: If you are pleased with the service you have received, we encourage you to show your appreciation to your groomer. Although not required, a gratuity is a powerful way to say "I appreciate your work." Even a note from you, simply saying "thanks for a job well done" means a great deal.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY

I understand that Mr. Rogers Mobile Pet Grooming and their employees will do their utmost to protect the health and safety of my pet while in their possession. I acknowledge that accidents can and do happen and I hereby absolve Mr. Rogers Mobile Pet Grooming and its employees from any and all responsibility involving illness, injury, escape, damage or disease during and after their grooming time while in possession of my pet(s). I also agree to be financially
responsible for fees, charges or cost incurred as a result of any illness, accident, injury to my pet or escape, loss or death of my pet. 

I understand by signing this Service Agreement I agree to hold Mr. Rogers Mobile Pet Grooming, it's owners, operators, employees, officers and directors harmless from any damage, loss, or claim arising from any condition of the pet(s) disclosed on the new client form, either known or unknown to Mr. Rogers Mobile Pet Grooming. I have disclosed to Mr. Rogers Mobile Pet Grooming all known health issues. I have disclosed any known unmanageable or aggressive behavior or dangers associated with my pet. I agree to be responsible for any medical care expenses and damages that result from injuries caused by my pet to Mr. Rogers Mobile Pet Grooming's employees.

I understand and agree that Mr. Rogers Mobile Pet Grooming shall not be held responsible for any damage to my property. I hereby declare to Mr. Rogers Mobile Pet Grooming that I am the legal owner of my pet(s); and certify the information I have provided to be true and accurate, and I (the owner) have read and understand the Liability section of this Service Agreement.
It is also further understood and agreed the terms of this agreement can change at any time, without notice, and will overwrite any and all prior signed contracts or releases.

BY SIGNING BELOW, I (THE OWNER) AGREE THAT I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE POLICIES & Procedures AGREEMENT. I (THE OWNER) HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND MY OBLIGATIONS AS A PET OWNER SEEKING GROOMING SERVICES WITH Mr. Rogers Mobile Pet Grooming AND WILL ADHERE TO THE POLICIES, PROCEDURES & SERVICE AGREEMENT FOR AS LONG AS GROOMING SERVICES ARE OFFERED BY Mr. Rogers Mobile Pet Grooming.
